systeminfo command generates lots of information like processor, bios, os, hostname including system up time. At the command prompt enter systeminfo | find "Up Time" to get the required info.

Goto google.com
Recently on lifehacker I saw that google has enabled instant results, but didn't work for me. With quick googling what I found is that this feature is enabled only for www.google.com. Whenever I try to open this, it always takes me to www.google.co.in with a link to www.google.com at the bottom. To go to directly to www.google.com one has to type in www.google.com/ncr (No Country Redirect) !
